A. Ng Pavel (吳慧靈) is an interdisciplinary artist and writer from Chicago. They are the founder of the Chicago Asian Writers Workshop, which offers free creative writing classes for Asian writers in the Midwest. In 2023, they were a Kenyon Review Peter Taylor Fellow and a StoryBoard Reading Fellow, and in 2024, an alumnus of the Tin House Summer Workshop. An MFA Candidate in Fiction at the University of Mississippi, they are currently at work on a novel and a collection of short stories.
