Elizabeth Arnold

Elizabeth Arnold (1958–2024) was the author of six books of poetry, most recently Wave House (2023) and Skeleton Coast (2017) with Flood Editions. In addition to numerous awards, including a Whiting Writers Award and a Bunting Fellowship, Arnold was a professor in the Department of English at the University of Maryland, where she taught in its creative writing MFA program. While completing her PhD at the University of Chicago, Arnold served as the editor of Chicago Review.
