Matvei Yankelevich is a poet, editor, and translator who has been working in small press publishing since the late 1990s, when he cofounded Ugly Duckling Presse. Since 2022, he is editor-in-chief at World Poetry, a nonprofit press devoted to poetry in translation. In 2023, he opened a new small press, Winter Editions. His most recent chapbook is Dead Winter (Fonograf).
