Amir Adam is a Syrian-American writer studying fiction at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He received a work-study “waitership” and a Tennessee Williams scholarship, respectively, from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and Sewanee Writers’ Conference. He is at work on a novel.
