Catrina de Rivera studied creative writing as an undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego before spending two years abroad in Germany and Spain. She currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she is completing her PhD at Harvard University. At Harvard, Catrina has taught German language and a variety of film and literature courses. She has several forthcoming articles in literary journals. This is her first poetry translation.
