Johannes Göransson is the author of several books of poetry, including most recently Summer and (with Sara Tuss Efrik) The New Quarantine. This poem is from a manuscript called The Adorations. He teaches at the University of Notre Dame and edits Action Books and Notre Dame Review. He has also translated a number of Swedish poets, such as Aase Berg and Ann Jäderlund.
