Kamil Ahsan is a dual-degree doctoral student in Developmental Biology and an MA candidate in History at the University of Chicago. He is also an independent journalist, essayist, and fiction writer, whose work has appeared in Dissent, The Millions, The American Prospect, Salon, Aeon, Jacobin, The Rumpus, The Stockholm Review, and Entropy, among others.
