Margaret Randall

Poet, essayist, translator. Co-founded and co-edited iconic bilingual literary journal El Corno Emplumado / The Plumed Hornout of Mexico City in the 1960s. Lived in Cuba and Nicaragua in the 1970s and ‘80s. Among her more than 150 books: Time’s Language: Selected Poems 1959-2018. In 2019 Ecuador awarded her its prestigious “Poet of Two Hemispheres Prize.”  Her memoir, I Never Left Home: Poet, Feminist, Revolutionary will be released from Duke March 2020.
